3SG / 5SG
SG abrasive is blended with white fused alumina (or other corundum) to balance grinding performance and wheel cost. 3SG suits general production grinding. 5SG, with a higher SG content, suits harder materials, tighter tolerances and longer wheel life. Send us your workpiece material and hardness and we’ll recommend a grade.
