The Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE Series 500 IP67 Coolant Proof Caliper delivers reliable, high-precision measurement in demanding shop-floor environments where dust, water, coolant, or oil exposure is a daily concern.

Built on Mitutoyo’s ABSOLUTE electromagnetic induction linear encoder, the caliper retains its origin position even after power loss, eliminating the need to reset and reducing measurement errors caused by accidental overspeed movement. An easy-to-read LCD display and automatic power-off function extend battery life to approximately 5 years under normal use.

Models are available with depth bar, carbide-tipped jaws for O.D. and I.D. measurement, thumb roller for smooth one-handed operation, and optional SPC data output for connection to networked measurement and quality control systems. A range of wired and wireless (Bluetooth/IP67 transmitter) output devices is available for seamless data transfer.
